My Lovelies!

I am looking for book rec's. I'm about to be bedridden for the next 4-6 weeks recovering from surgery (nothing bad, actually very happy and excited, just downtime, ya know?), and I have some lined up, but I would love more. I'm definitely looking to make more use of my library card.

Y'all! Today, on this most sacred of days (my birthday) I finished my first sweater!

Look at her!!!! My goal for the year was to make a wearable that wasn't a shawl or scarf. I was so nervous to try this, but found a great pattern and tutorial.

Now I know I can do it and will be better prepared to make more. Y'all I'm so excited and happy right now.

She is so pretty, and now my attempts to dominate the world through sweater hoarding can continue. I am UNSTOPPABLE! (j/k)

Anyways HBD to me and this beautiful sweater. Should we name her?

Because I am a pet dad it is written in the deep fine print when you acquire furry babies that you must share their milestones.

Today my fur baby gremlins turn 1 year old. So here are some pictures from their first year.

My shelf full of yarn just waiting to be turned into things for my friends and family.

My board full of my favourite blorbo's that I've adopted and get to look at and remember the insanity they've brought into my life and get inspiration for new rants to my friends

My 2 fluffly gremlin children who drive me mad, but also give me the best cuddles and snuggles when i'm having bad days.

Instead of a 3 Body Problem - I have something much worse. A 2 Kitten Problem!

Now I hear you asking - Ama, how is that a problem?

Well you see - I love them equally and must show this to them at all times and it must be equal so one does not feel neglected. All pets and snuggles must be given equally. It's the rules of cat ownership.

Well you have two hands right? One hand per kitten.

Ah well.... you see the vast majority of times you are presented with not one,

But two beautiful kittens

You get so filled with love that you must release it in giant gestures - burying your face in floof, chin and tail skritches, oodles of sniff kisses - and you can only do that to one at a time! But all the while the other is looking at you! Looking betrayed and hurt.

It's heart wrecking! Which then fills you with love again that must be released on your new target....I mean kitten. It is a viscous endless cycle.

Please send help!

@liyazaki - you understand my plight right??? How do you do it? How do you get anything done?
