Bisexual. I feel like she might be slightly more “real” with women than she would be with men, though I’m sure she was trained to seduce both men and women. She usually finds men to be completely boring, predictable, and lazy, seeing as she has to work twice as hard for the same amount of respect. She has more meaningful conversations with women, and can lounge around in bed with them. With men, it’s usually about the nice hard cock.

Steve. Okay okay, so I used to only ship her with Clint, but Age of Ultron ruined it for me. I read fanfic with them and then picture his wife and kids and I shake my fists at the sky, like WHYYYYYYY. I also started noticing the off-the-hook chemistry she has with Cap. Thanks to the lovely heyfrenchfreudiana ;-)
With Steve, he’s one of the exceptions. It’s not all about the nice hard cock with him. Natasha loves Steve because he’s the man she can lounge around with in bed and talk about anything or nothing (but usually nothing too deep), make fun of each other (the best part), have crazy pounding from-behind sex at night, and slow and deliberate lovemaking in the morning. They’re both different people to the outside world, the Widow and Cap, but in the bedroom, sometimes they let themselves simply be Natasha and Steve.

Well, now it’s Clint :-/ They’re kindred. He’ll probably be the one that always knows her best. He was there during the biggest transition in her life so far … going from red in her ledger to trying to wipe some of it out. And “Budapest” is really just a big elaborate inside joke. Nothing really happened. Hell, they were probably actually in Bucharest, who knows anymore. But they mention it all the time so people will make up crazy stories in their heads. They enjoy hearing the theories around the watercooler … but none of it is ever true.
A NOTP I have with said character:
Tony Stark. I mean, friends and allies, sure. But never lovers. And even with the ally part … she’s with Steve all the way during the impending Civil War.
A random headcanon:
She was playing Bruce the whole time in Age of Ultron. I mean, she has a genuine affection for him, and he’s a friend, but she needed the Big Guy to get the job done and she didn’t want him to bail before they’d saved the world … given his history with bailing.
