Elina was resting next to him, verging on sleep as her hand moved to his, before her fingers moved past his wrist, tracing old scars. Her touch feather light. She sighed sadly, looking at him, mind moving from where they were to sometime in the future, where would they be then, would there be less or more scars, would they be red raw or would they have paled to nothing.

Lukå crawled into the front seat of the car, now clearly dragging a pillow and blanket behind him. He lowered the seat and made it into a small bed, before fastening his seat belt and going to sleep.
Elina gave him a smile, starting the car and drove off to the airport. Once there she parked her car and gently shook Lukå. "Time to go inside, we just have to get out tickets and you can sleep a bit more."
Luka yawned, dragging a suitcase behind him. "I get to sleep on the plane, right? "
"Yeah, and so do I." Elina smiled sleepily, her own suitcase in hand.
