Angela would likely be one of the first people to remind someone of this, if they attempted to use biology as a defense for discrimination.Also, a racial bias would seriously skew her judgment as a doctor, both for diagnoses and for treatment; an unjustified assumption could quite literally kill someone. She does her best to treat each patient as their own person, with their own circumstances and hardships. Is she infallible? No, of course not - she very much has privilege due to her skin color, her appearance, and her socioeconomic standing, and she’s aware of that. But the more she can minimize their impact on her work, whether in a prominent hospital or the middle of a warzone, the better.

I’m so passionate about this because there are times in the comics when the writers take this whole “womanizer” thing to extreme. Tony who told Vision that he can’t read magazine’s to understand women because when you’re interested in someone you have to know what they like and who they are as an individual and gender boxes don’t apply.
Tony who when he falls in love he falls so hard that he legit doesn’t think about anyone else. I mean he’s this rich famous good looking guy and yet he doesn’t cheat on his lovers. If it’s casual he makes it KNOWN it’s casual but if it’s not the man is all in.
Tony who told corny lines to Whitney Frost who was self conscious about her scars.
Tony who caught himself staring at Rumiko at the beach and felt SLEEZEY for being that guy who gawks at hot women in bikinis.
Tony who has been manipulated and used in relationships before (Sunset Bain and Indries Moomji) and more casual affairs (Justine Hammer)
Tony who was shot point blank in the chest by someone he was in a casual relationship with
Tony likes to dote on his dates. He likes to make people happy because that’s what he does. He doesn’t take care of himself he takes care of everyone else (or at least tries to) so yes he’s going to flirt and say corny pick up lines but why does that equate to “womanizer” and why does that make fans and some writers think he’s going to slap a woman’s ass (I WILL FOREVER SCREAM BLOODY MURDER AT THAT DAMN COMIC *flips table*)

And also…he tries to keep up appearances. He’s /suppose/ to be this suave eligible bachelor so he plays the role. In early Iron Man comics he’d have a new date every issue but then make up same lame excuse to leave (because I go back to my first point of him trying to keep IM a secret) but he always felt SO GUILTY like he was using them, which he was technically, but still.
Not to mention; I headcanon that one of Tony’s love languages is physical touch. Physical touch is an important thing to him. It’s what makes him feel appreciated and in extreme cases it’s what makes him feel loved. So sex kinda goes with that, but to say he’s a “womanizer” kinda throws out all of the other things he does and all of the things he’s been through.

I’m also going to include a little bit of my own headcanon in here because I have a reasons why I think Tony is not seen with men in the comics (besides the obvious)
So it’s pretty clear to me that Tony trusts women more than men. When Scott Lang was telling Tony that the suit was killing him Tony basically brushed him off. Two seconds later when Jane Foster said “No no Tony he’s right” Tony was like “Oh well shit if Jane thinks so maybe I should pay attention”
There are quite a few instances where Tony takes the word of a woman before that of a man. Dr. Strange telling everyone that Wanda was dangerous and Tony was just like “Uuuuh nope.”
Tony who has taken Carol Danvers’ advice over Steve Rogers.
I chalk this up to his childhood. Tony was abused by Howard in the comics. There was one comic I read where Howard backhanded him for crying over his dog that ran away when he was 8. There’s a comic where Maria threatened to leave Howard (or worse) if Howard touched her son again.
So you have a man who was abused at the hands of his father and looked up to his mother as a protector and hero. I also headcanon that one of Tony’s love languages is physical touch, so for a good portion of his life he was taught that men hurt and women don’t.
Because of that I see Tony having an easier time relaxing around women so he rarely has relationships with men. That doesn’t mean he’s straight it means he has a complex sexual and romantic identity that I feel is rarely explored because Tony is often seen as a “play boy” who just goes around screwing anything that moves.
Misconception that if Riri, Kamala, Sam, or Miles was in MCU, Tony would not care about them as much as he would to Peter. Yes. Tony stans have told me this....

Peter was one of the first kids that Tony ever connected with. I mean he made the Iron Spider suit as a “re-birthday gift” because they thought Peter died and he didn’t and Tony was SO HAPPY he made him a freakin’ special suit. Not to mention paid all of Peter’s bills and kept MJ and May safe. Peter has always been important to Tony but to suggest Tony wouldn’t do that for Riri, Kamala, Sam or Miles?????????? The only thing different was he wasn’t as laid back like he was with Peter but that’s because he already LOST Peter and he didn’t want to lose Miles too.
