Send me "Ruffle" For my muses reaction to your muse randomly coming up and running their fingers through mines hair.

Normally Subaru would have complained, or at least fussed a little bit. He would have even bothered to try to fix his hair. But there was something different with Fai that he could not put his finger on. He stepped closer, laying his messy-haired head against his chest and stared at nothing in particular. This was a rare comfort. One he opted to cherish instead of push away. No one but his brother these days and whether he knew it or not he craved having a little attention. "Thank you.." Though it still felt strange.

[[ Old munday things I kept meaning to answer..

1. Does mun have any pets?

No, sadly Su-mun does not. I desperately want a cat, but my step-father is allergic to certain cats and dogs and really we simply cannot afford to take care of one and it would be really unfair to have a pet that we couldn't properly provide for I think

At one point we were taking care of a stray cat, but we ended up finding it a home. And then there was the hamster incident.. where we were given a hamster (that I named Bijou after the beautiful white hamster in Hamtaro even though he was a boy and looked more like Hamtaro than Bijou but oh well) and told he was younger than he was and he died within a year of us having him. And I did not take it well. So we've kind of not been a pet family since. 

2. Mun’s Age

Su-mun is 22 years old. And that makes me legal in all things. Except I consistently forget that I am 22 and told some nice guy I was trying to get to know that I was 20 and yeah no. I don't feel 22.

18. Is mun religious?

That's.. complicated.

Su-mun wasn't raised with a religion. My beloved mother in her infinite wisdom thought that raising me without a religious foundation would be the best thing so both my little brother and I are technically not anything. I don't necessarily disagree with her choice other than it's made certain parts of the academic world really hard to get my head around and people have a tendency to instantly assume I'm pagan. 

However, I was always encouraged to ask questions and to explore any belief set I wanted too. So I have in my 22 years of life at some point or another believed very firmly in just about any religion or spiritual practice you can think of.. Until I was about 16 said "screw this why do I have to pick when I love them all" and decided that absolutely everything was true all at once. 

Which for some reason gets dumped into the category of 'universalist' but I don't like that label at all... labels are limiting and the whole point to the screw it statement was that I didn't wish to be limited in any sense.

That said.. I am a huge huge huge believer in Hermetic Philosophy.. so.

19. Mun’s favourite film

Iza-mun reminded me of my love for The Lovely Bones which is a gorgeous cinematic representation of the book. Probably one of my favorite book to movie movies.

But I also love The Fountain (which is a deeply unknown movie), Hugo, Like Minds, anything made by Miyazaki with the exception of Ponyo, and a number of other movies

22. Can mun cook?

Su-mun can in fact cook~ I'm fairly good at a number of things. Certainly not famous chef good, but I make do and have a tendency to be a little over-creative in the kitchen.

Coming from Fai though Subaru actually had no defense against those words. All he could do was duck his head down, hoping the mage wouldn't see. "F-Fai-san.. that's very kind of you to say, thank you."

76. Our muses are destined to meet in an Emergency waiting room

He waited.

He could wait. He wasn’t in that bad shape after all. A few scratches here and there, a deep wound on his head that made his mind spin in a million confusing thoughts. His vision was blurried, but he could make it where he was. He heard someone talking to him, saying he was lucky the ambulance arrived fast, otherwise he would been doomed.

Aren’t I doomed already?

He had to laugh at it.

I can’t even remember my name.

He felt strangely at peace. Sedated. Calm as someone on the verge of death shouldn’t be. But he didn’t care. Nobody seemed to care. He was in a hospital, said to be the lucky guy to arrive there. Then why was he waiting? And what for?

"You ok there?"

He heard a soft voice calling for him. Or was it his imagination? Lately that kind of thing had been happening. Things he coudn’t explain. Images he couldn’t explain how he saw them. Voices he couldn’t explain how he heard them. Am I hallucinating again?

"I am. What about you?"

But Watanuki could tell from only seeing them. He turned his head to where the voice came from and was faced by a devastating figure. He was blond, or he imagined he was. His hair was mostly tinted with blood, soaking down half of his face and down his neck and shoulders. A hand covered his face, hiding a seemingly wounded right eye. His gentle smile was the most unsettling thing, though.

"I am fine."

But obviously he wasn’t. He was in a bad state as was Watanuki. Maybe worse. Ten times worse. And yet he was also alone. Unattended by nurses, doctors. He was left on his own. No parents, no friends, nothing. Just like me.

"Are you waiting too?"

The blond nodded.

"I am."
