It's perhaps an odd bond, this little friendship Tadashi has built up with Rhys. Understandable, when one is a crow and the other is a harpy, with feathers almost the same colour. Just...different. All of Tadashi's other friends are other harpies, or humans. Rhys is neither of those, but Yamaguchi still likes having him around.

Evidence of that is the little pile of trinkets he's collecting on his desk at home, each one a gift from his crow friend. He's given a couple of shiny buttons back, but mostly, Yama's offerings are food.

"There you are." Tadashi says brightly. "You hungry today? I've got stuff for you." He's already broken some pieces off the sandwich he's having for lunch, ready to give them to Rhys, and he has an apple in his bag he'll be more than happy to share.

For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.

⭐️ Casita: After Casita's been rebuild, Luisa is often found in the hammocks. Casita gently rocks Luisa after she dozes off and she gets some of the best rest in the hammocks.

⭐️ Alma Madrigal: Luisa often asked a lot of questions about romance, even about Alma and Pedro. She's been shown the picture Alma keeps with her a few times and she cherises it as much as the stories and anecdotes Alma has told her.

⭐️ Julieta Madrigal: When Luisa was 2-3 years old, she was missing for an afternoon. Julieta found her back in her own bedroom, attempting to try on one of Julieta's nightgowns, but as expected it just pooled around her. Agustin took a photo of it.

⭐️ Antonio Madrigal: Now Antonio's got his gift, he often comes along with Luisa as she crosses off her list of chores. They work together very well, their mild temperaments are a great match!

Antonio was sneaking around the Casita, looking around corners and tiptoeing along. Finally he turned a corner and found who he had been looking for. With quiet footsteps he walked up behind Bruno. He crouched down, tongue sticking out in concentration, and threw himself upwards, clinging to the man's ruana and shirt underneath like a monkey. "FOUND YOU!!!"

he had been keeping to himself mostly, walking the halls of the Casita while the family was off doing whatever they needed to do. they had responsibilities right? he didn’t really have many... not since coming back and then having been accustom to him not being around. which left him with his thoughts more and more as the Casita was empty, or quiet. despite the animals in the Casita, it was nice to be alone. kinda, sort of. it was hard to explain to anyone or to himself. he was never TRULY alone. he had his rats after all!

which brought him to what he was doing now. walking with his finger tips touching the wall as if searching for something as he walked. he was still anxious. anxious about the cracks that COULD form. or might since he’s back. and --- feeling the back of his ruana and shirt pulled on there was a slight squeak from him before looking over his shoulder and seeing Antonio. Shifting position, so his arms were tucked under his nephew’s legs and holding him more secure. a small smile on his lips. 

“ found me? I didn’t know I was hiding. “

"Oi. ....Oi, lass." Despite the slight echo the mostly empty corridor offers, Nori still keeps himself quiet, voice barely above a whisper as he calls for River's attention. The dwarf is largely hidden in the shadows, but he doesn't tuck himself away completely. That would go directly against his goal of getting River's attention.

"You need a break from princessing? Follow me."

There are times that being able to speak to birds is very useful. There are times when it's...less useful, or at least less fun, which Kili would very much say is when said birds get a touch stroppy with him and his kin. Angry ravens aren't much joy to be around, after all.

But Kili likes to think that such corvids, temperamental though they may be, are more positively inclined towards him than they are to other members of the Durin line.

Which is why he doesn't feel any real worry that he might be pecked as he doubles over laughing at the poor, cheeseless crow. He doesn't usually talk to crows, but oh boy, this one might just change that.

"Where did you even get cheese?" He wheezes the question out, because he doesn't know of anyone who would be out here feeding cheese to crows.

But, as Kili gets his laughter under control (to spare his aching sides), he realises that this bird does look awfully sad without any cheese.

"...Would you like some more?"

Both father and son look over at Kara from their respective seats when she starts talking, each shifting his attention to her.

"Oh my. Fifteen is rather a lot." Damien has the more reasonable response of the two, his focus on the victims and the sheer number of them. Fifteen is a lot, but what does more than fifteen even mean?

Lucien is... less reasonable, and more curious.

"Were they in bags though? 'Cause that's way more sanitary than if he was just throwing like, hands and thighs right onto the shelves."
