raphael and gabriel walk into a bar only to realize meg and cas are there on a "date," what happens nextttt
8:13pm. gabriel and raphael walk into a bar. gabriel points out that their baby brother has a girl out with him. raphael drags him away.
8:18pm, meg and cas are inching slowly closer to each other. gabriel is whispering live updates to raphael. raphael has already finished her first drink.
8:25pm. meg and cas are still totally absorbed in each other. gabriel is plotting aloud how they can tease their little bro. raphael’s started on her second drink and is quietly yet firmly talking gabriel out of every single one of his ideas.
8:26pm. gabriel texts a picture of meg and cas to everyone on his contact list. raphael polishes off her second drink,
8:35pm. balthazar arrives at the bar in a terrible disguise. gabriel has half a second to point out the happy couple before raphael shoos him away.
8:37pm. balthazar has found anna and ruby at the back of the bar and joined them some unspeakable drinking game. meg and cas have ordered a pizza. gabriel is rifling through his wallet. raphael is asking the bartender about harder alcohol.
8:40pm. gabriel has called over the bartender and is whispering things in his ear. gabriel slips a $50 into the bartender’s pocket. raphael is trying to remind gabriel about the duties of an older sibling, to no avail.
8:44pm. gabriel sends a text. raphael asks what he’s planning. gabriel winks at her. meg and cas are making disgusting faces at each other over the table.
8:56pm. naomi and zachariah arrive. they have party hats.
9:04pm. gabriel slips away with the bartender. zachariah has a strange grin on his face. a man tries to start a conversation with raphael and she accidentally breaks a glass over his hand. accidentally.
9:20pm. gabriel returns, grinning like a nut. raphael’s started on her fifth drink and is muttering curses at her entire family. naomi’s chatting up anna and ruby at the back of the bar. they all look eerily excited. meg and cas are still completely lost in each other.
9:25-9:49pm. everything is surprisingly normal. gabriel calms raphael down. they have a nice conversation about how much their elder brothers suck. naomi and zachariah have a moment in a corner. cas is looking at meg like she’s a work of fine art. meg is looking at cas like he’s an absurdly cute puppy she found on the streets. balthazar is sporting attractive sharpie eyebrows.
9.50pm. the bartender emerges from the kitchen with a pizza. it has… candles?
9:51pm. the bartender brings the pizza over to meg and cas. they look at it. cas gasps and turns a bright shade of red. meg grins.
9:51pm. the music suddenly stops. the lights go off, save the ones above meg and cas. the bartender picks up a microphone and announces that there’s a special occasion.
9:51pm. gabriel comes to the mic. announces that tonight is a very special night for his little brother castiel. that he’s had his eyes on that meg girl for a while, and, well, there’s been rumours…
9:52pm. raphael grabs the nearest bottle from the bar and drinks deeply as a banner that says ‘congrats on the sex’ is hung across the wall and confetti is thrown from several strategic locations.
10:00pm. cas has had his head on that table for five minutes. meg has her arm around him and is wearing the proudest grin imaginable. gabriel’s bought everyone shots. raphael also has her head on a table. people keep patting castiel on the back and zachariah has made a speech about the occasion. anna is gushing about how proud she is. balthazar is giving raphael a ‘soothing’ massage. all is wonderful.
3:43am. lying in bed, meg and cas agree that despite the happy ending, they will save all their future dates for when gabriel’s out of town.
