#MishMOTD "rest if you must, but don't you quit" - unknown . In 4th/5th grade my crisis intervention teacher had a poem called "Don't Quit" by an unknown Author, posted on the front of her desk. . But one line always stood out to me: "Rest if you must, but don't you quit" . . I often here people say "Don't quit" but never "Rest" . Sometimes in order to keep going, you have to rest. . Yesterday, I made an important decision to take a break from something very important to me. . Though important, it is beginning to drain me. . Though I will see this through, in order to not quit, I need a rest. . . These words came back to me and I'm now sharing them with you: . #MishMOTD Live your dreams! Big dreams. Small dreams. Intermediate dreams. Make it happen. . Come up with a plan to make it happen. . What EXACTLY do you need to do to get from where you ARE to where you WANT TO BE! . Whatever it is. Do that thing and make it happen. . And make time for small dreams too. . So fun fact: I have a reason I chose a horse for this pic. . I had never been up close to a full grown horse. (I'm from the city, don't judge me 😂). . But today there were 2 outside in my city and the owner was allowing people to pet them. . I had a million other things to do, but I made time to go pet the GORGEOUS creature. . Such a small goal accomplished today, but I enjoyed it so much. . Such an innocent joy. . My next goal is to learn how to build trust with one and ride. . Then for the big goal...I want to be up close and personal with an elephant and I want to (1) hug it (2) ride it. . I've said this one for YEARS. But I will properly plan, save and make it happen. .
