and like i really wanted it to not be truffle i wanted it to be a random pig but in the end when pyro "failed" apo's test (by showing his humanity & love for truffle) I think apo HAD to kill truffle. both because apo is sliding faster into vampirism than ever and because - well, pyro didn't show her that mercy. why should she show it for truffle? why did pyro spare truffle but not apo, what did apo do to deserve that?
man i had this awesome dream that i was part of s club for grownups called the run around club where you'd go somewhere and walk or hike out like half a mile and then get to a playground and then run around in the playground. there was even a sub activity called monkeying aroud where you climbed on the jungle gym upside down
naclyoho day 3: another low energy day... vacuumed the living room. Admittedly I havent had the motivation to do it in like a month so this is an improvement! my living space is nicer to be in now.
Non cleaning stuff that i worked on included practicing for an upcoming concert (procrastinated it for three weeks and now i am playing catchup) and working on fanart (this is actually just a fun thing)
naclyoho day one! since im getting low on food & need to go grocery shopping i took advantage of my relatively empty fridge to scrub it out, shelves and all (the bottom shelf is still air drying... it's so big i had to wash it in my bathtub)

naclyoho day 8: meal prep day! made a big batch of bolognese for freezing, and some bechamel/mustard chicken for dinner today, and got the groceries to make cranberry orange scones tomorrow. also had my concert & it went well! So a productive day all in all

chinese new year dinner! homemade lo bak go (this was a heroic effort that took me six hours from start to finish, would not do more than once a year but was so worth it for this occasion), nien go that i brought from HK on my last trip there.
not pictured here are steamed egg (good but a little under-set, i haven't figured out the timings on my current stove yet) and some napa cooked with lap cheong in daikon soup, also fancy looseleaf oolong that i made in my grandma's teapot. very successful i think
