chinese new year dinner! homemade lo bak go (this was a heroic effort that took me six hours from start to finish, would not do more than once a year but was so worth it for this occasion), nien go that i brought from HK on my last trip there.
not pictured here are steamed egg (good but a little under-set, i haven't figured out the timings on my current stove yet) and some napa cooked with lap cheong in daikon soup, also fancy looseleaf oolong that i made in my grandma's teapot. very successful i think
