My Stepdad is a mysogonistic ass. Who believes that if he wishes to speak to me as if I am an ignorant child, in a condescending manner, then I am just supposed to grin and bear it. I'm a 24 year old woman not a child. That replying to him like I have been verbally accosted is unwarranted. That my opinions are able to be shut down simply by saying "No. Stop. I'm done talking to you." And he doesn't understand why "I'm so mean to him". Because speaking my mind is mean. Because not letting him verbally attack me is mean. Because valuing my self worth is mean. I need feminism because wanting to be treated like a human being is mean.
