im not gonna completely ignore the canon fact that miso soup/tempura didnt get along at first. i think maybe as miso realizes he has feelings for tempura, he pushes him away, further and further. it sucks for both of them bc tempura thinks miso is the coolest fucken dude, and miso misses the attention- no matter how much he ‘hates’ it. i think itd place a strain on their relationship, friends or otherwise, in the future!!
