It certainly was puzzling, but at the rate things were going the club had just BARELY reached the requirements to race at regionals. ‘We need more people …’ the thought had occurred to her several times, but after seeing how hard it was to even recruit Rei. But her decisions didn’t come without much deliberation. What if someone had gotten sick? Knock on wood, but they had no substitutes and chances are that they would get instantly DQed if anything. She had told the swim team to look for more people, but as hours past, there wasn’t much luck. Granted their methods of recruitment needed some refinement … “Hmmm,” while it was just sorely tempting to paper the school in flyers, she’d probably get reprimanded for it… Well she certainly wasn’t going to throw keychains in front of people’s faces like Haruka… but it honestly looked like more of an option after so many people had either ignored her or were simply unresponsive. Giving another heavy sigh, she glanced on over down the hallway—ah a person! “Excuse me!” the red-head exclaimed, dashing on over – it was time to give this recruitment business one last shot before she would be forced to switch tactics.
“Would you be interested in joining the swim club?” the words blurted out of her mouth as she offered out a flyer.
