I am mourning the loss of my once best friend, the person who was my hero. I miss my dad so much, we all do. I lost you first when I was fifteen, but officially you left at age 17.

We miss you, dad, miss how you used to be. It is a confusing situation, you left your family and turned to drugs, and than found a new family. The world seems to think you're still alive, but we know our dad is gone.

And he isn't coming back.

I am left to mourn your loss, the certainty that you're gone. And not many people can understand this, I miss my dad.
