Apologies; this particular meme is hard to do a search for, so I'm not sure if you've covered it. It's a several lines long poem, and each line is very short and often misspelled in a sorta retro lolcats way. The poem usually ends with something like "I [noun] the [verb] / i [x] the [y]" Sorry if this is a confusing way to phrase it! I've been wondering about the origins of this meme. YES. FWIW I loved the series, but there was a LOT that set off my m’lady-dar. I had to take a break between the two books b/c I hate the main character. But the worldbuilding is unmatched; the series is still VERY good, and well worth reading.
Just putting this up here for “m’lady-dar.”
I’m already annoyed that the first chapter takes place in an inn and yet the only named female character so far is a horse that dies off screen. Like, come on! This is fantasy! You can’t even toss in a buxom barmaid or two?
