It's always such a weird feeling when my ex messages me. Like it only works 'cuz we've been friends for almost 8 years and sometimes I really miss a part of him. I'm not sure if what I'm saying even makes sense ...like I have no feelings whatsoever for him now obviously but I still don't want to throw away any of his past letters or items from when we were dating. Something about a relationship that stemmed from a long history of friendship always remains beautiful. Sucks that timing can make or break love.

Just a random thought but I miss the days in high school where I actually spent time doing my hair and, although I didn’t start wearing makeup yet or anything, make sure I matched from head to toe. Even when I had to wake up an extra hour and a half for TOK/Bio SL (IB hell) I still made sure to look “cute” (wink wink). 

Nowadays I don’t even touch my hair. No styling, braiding, tying, clipping, nothing. Somewhere along the years I’ve lost the time to invest in my appearance in my daily life. This has inevitably translated to me feeling not very compelled to 꾸며 even during when I do have some extra time in the morning. 

And I just suddenly felt a tinge of 안타까움. Sigh. Is this really the adult life...
