ATLANTIC OCEAN (October 18, 2020) – A Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) fires from United States Navy Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7).

RAM is a small, lightweight, infrared homing surface-to-air missile used for close-in defense against incoming missiles and hostile aircraft. It has an operational range of 6 miles (10 km).
