A kiss on the forehead was kind. A kiss on the cheek, sweet.But, this? This was, something else. It seemed to her that his lips never fullyleft her, and yet there were kisses everywhere. Her forehead and nose andcheeks and even her chin. There seemed to be no order to the chaos, except thatevery so often he would head back for a kiss he’d apparently missed.
Jane wasn’t quite sure how to react. The kisses tickled, andhis insistence that each one be somewhere new made her laugh. Was it just her imagination,or did he linger a bit on the pecks closer to her lips? It must have been somekind of joke. It was just like him to give her a peck for every spot,especially if she complained about them. Then again she couldn’t remember atime when her heart had beat quite so quickly, or quite so loud.
“Carlisle,” It was hard to talk between the kisses. “Whatare you-“
“Shh.” He muttered. “Gotta get them all.”
That made her laugh more. It was all very strange. Finallyhe paused with a hand under her chin, tilting her head this way and that,inspecting his work. Jane blinked back, confused as he was determined.
“Well?”
“Just checking.” He said, inspecting her face carefully. Herheartbeat was getting distracting.
“I think you missed some.”
His brow crinkled. “Where?” But she had already slipped herhand behind his head and pulled him in close, just to make sure this time it wasn’ther imagination keeping him there.

Road Trip: a travel or escapism headcanon.
Jane travels a lot for work, and this is when she usually catches up on her reading. She loves to read about the places that she is going, and if she can, she’ll find a book with a story centered there. If she has time, she’ll go and find the places mentioned in the book. She also loves to visit zoos and museums, both of which just let her turn off her sciency mind and relax.
Rocky Road: a difficulty or struggle headcanon.
Jane doesn’t like to be helpless, but she is. She’s human, and she can’t help it. Because of this, she can often be found researching, training, and working on her one ‘strength,’ marksmanship.
