Musa Hitam urges public to continue to pray for MH370
KOTA BARU, March 28:
The people have been urged to not hurl accusations against any parties in connection with the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370.
Former deputy prime minister Tun Musa Hitam said the government was doing its best to address the problem and the relevant authorities were investigating the incident.
“The people should continue to pray and do the solat hajat,” he told reporters at a programme here last night.
Musa said the tragedy had touched the hearts of the people in the country, regardless of their origins and political beliefs.
“I am proud that the people from all backgrounds and political beliefs are all united in facing the tragedy,” he added.
Flight MH370, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew, left the KL International Airport (KLIA) at 12.41am on March 8 and disappeared from the radar screen about an hour later while over the South China Sea.
It was to have landed in Beijing at 6.30am on the same day.
A multinational search was mounted for the aircraft, first in the South China Sea and then, after it was learned that the plane had veered off course, along two corridors — the northern corridor stretching from the border of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to northern Thailand and the southern corridor, from Indonesia to the southern Indian Ocean.
Following an unprecedented type of analysis of satellite data, United Kingdom satellite telecommunications company Inmarsat and the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) concluded that Flight MH370 flew along the southern corridor and that its last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean, west of Perth, Australia.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak then announced on March 24, seventeen days after the disappearance of Flight MH370 that it “ended in the southern Indian Ocean”.
Of Imminent Death

Had I been given several hours to contemplate over my inevitable end, I might of experienced random bouts of hysteria, interrupted now and then by excessive weeping. As it were, with the little time that I was given to react, a cool numbness took over. As the air around me filled with hopeless howling, silent sobbing and a steady muttering of religious incantations, all I could command my stone cold body to do was to stare blankly at the seat ahead of me.
Yet the numbness began to thaw as the Grim climbed out of the Pit to tower before me. Looking Death in the face is a prospect that liquefies my insides. Even so, as the harbinger of death loomed before me, its overbearing ominous presence commanded me to look into its burning skull. It scares me to stare Death in the face and be the one who blinks, but powerless as I am, I comply.
The fear that courses through my veins is not of physical pain but of a more primal level. One which has plagued our ancestors since the dawn of mankind. An inexpressible, inexplicable fear, void of reason, defying all common sense. Yet it is the root of self-preservation- our foremost survival instinct
Trapped in an air-borne vehicle, I wait as the battle my flight and fight reflex waged against common sense ends with no clear victor. It's all can do to keep myself from dwelling upon what I must witness when the Reeper takes my hand
so basically, MH370 has been hijacked?
Praying
My heart and soul ache for the recovery of missing Malaysian aircraft flight MH370. 239 people missing. I am sending every thing in my body, every positive thought I can muster and praying for their safe return. I cannot even imagine what it must be like for the family friends of those missing. Seriously feeling so helpless right now and it really puts what I think are "problems" into perspective. I hope everyone is sending them all love and support during this time <3 so much love for everyone.
Disappearance of Malaysian Airliner
(Reuters) - The disappearance of a Malaysian airliner about an hour into a flight to Beijing is an "unprecedented mystery," the civil aviation chief said on Monday, as a massive air and sea search now in its third day failed to find any trace of the plane or 239 people on board.
I'm trying to work on a story I'm writing, but I can't stop thinking about the airline that went missing two days ago. I want to believe so badly that the plane had to make an emergency landing somewhere and the people on board have just not been able to make contact with anyone. How can a plane just disappear like that? Some people are even saying that if there was an explosion of some sort, then the entire plane could of disintegrate while falling?! I didn't know planes could just disintegrate and leave no trace behind!?
My heart goes out to the family and friends of all those on board the plane. I just want them all to be okay, to return safely, and be unharmed. I know I'm setting my hopes to high though, or am I? Is it possible the plane was hijacked by the two people on board with stolen passports, and maybe they forced the pilot to fly somewhere else and land in some random airstrip?
I feel so useless just sitting here waiting for a news update. I wish there was something I could do to help with the search. For now, I guess all I can do is keeping hoping and praying the plane is found and it's passengers all safe.
