Thunderstorms no longer bring me a sense of comfort. They make me cry because all I can think about is my cat and how much he was afraid of them. Whenever the thunder picked up, I would go find him and place him in his favorite spot in my closet. Now all I can hope is he still comes to me whenever it storms.
