Artemis Fowl - Missing in Action (Part 1)
Juliet laughed delighted, as if this was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.
"Good one, fairy girl."
"Im deadly serious, human."
"Well, if you're so serious," sighed Juliet, reaching a delicate finger behind her lenses to wipe away a tear, "Two reasons. One, Artemis said that while you're in a human dwelling, you have to do what we want. And I want you to stay on that cot."

Make that amateur drawing of the thing you wanna see. Make a corny “bad” looking edit in Photoshop (or something free). Write a story yourself, even if you think it sounds stupid.
You learn by doing.
So what if it doesn’t come out like you saw it in your head? You can always try again when you’ve had more practice. But work with your idea, the meme, the character design, the story. Leave your fingerprints on it.
A scuffed handmade attempt will always have more charm than AI generated “perfection”.
It’ll feel like you because you were the one that made it, and maybe you don’t think that’s a good thing, but it is.
Every artist drew something corny or cringe or lopsided before they built up their skills. They have failed thumbnail sketches and drafts that you never see, even as pros.
Writers make continuity errors and misspell words and have to go back and fix the parts they don’t like.
Musicians have voice cracks and go off key and make songs that don’t turn out how they thought they would.
Editors click the wrong buttons and deal with glitches and have to figure out how to make the thing look or feel right.
But they get better by doing. And most people don’t post the failed attempts. It’s human nature.
Don’t use AI, building skills is far more valuable than you realize. It might feel like you aren’t getting better, but then you’ll look at something from 6 months ago and the difference will be night and day.
And also, the creators who make really epic stuff now started out as beginners in the same boat as you. Everybody has to come to terms with the fact that their work will always look like they made it, and that they’ll always see the flaws in it.
Sometimes I look at Tf2 art that’s really on model and digitally painted and polished, and mine isn’t. Especially drawings of Medic, I never give that man enough of a forehead. But I haven’t been drawing the characters nearly as long, or as often: and my passion lies in animation, not illustration and digital painting.
That being said, here’s some Tf2 sketches I never posted and forgot about:
