In Missing Me, Missing You, what was Lacey's case about, the one that had Gold as her lawyer?

She smashed a bottle over a certain jerk named Gaston’s head. He was getting too handsy in the strip club, got thrown out, and then later he nearly assaulted her in the alley. The bottle was convenient and she clocked him. She had a shitty public defender and Gaston was the son of some big shot. Gold was there the day she was brought in, waiting for a quick motion on one of his cases, just sitting in the back of the courtroom. In comes Lacey and her crappy lawyer who clearly thinks she’s trash, and Gold recognizes her. 

See, some client of his insisted on taking him and “the guys” out to a strip club after his case was won. Gold wasn’t much for it, but he was a bit fuck struck from across the room by Lacey. ;)

Long story short, Gold’s hackles got up about this idiot who was doing a piss poor job of defending Lacey, in what was obviously a self defense case, so he stepped in and took over. The rest is history.

Yes. He’s in Florida with Emma. He and Gold talk maybe weekly, but it’s hard because they both work so much. It’s one of those things where they both wish the other made more time for them.
