Time keeps going and you just get sad still...
No one tells you that when you lose a parent that you feel so lost...
No one tells you that you will slowly forget their voice...
No one tells you that you will feel like an orphan, because you can't ask them advice anymore...
No one tells you that the taste of the food they made you will try to replicate or find something similar, but it won't be the same....
No one tells you that you will just cry out of nowhere because of a scent, song, or similar sayings...
No one tells you that your last hug was your last hug....
No one tells you that even in your dreams you forget that they are gone...
All you can do is just cry and hope that the pain you feel in that moment subsides...it does get easier, but the pain hurts so much when all you want is to hug them!

The cool thing about not having a mom is being able to work on Mother's Day and not feel guilty.
Jk, I'm still guilty and sad and angry.
The Only Cafe: Confusing, but (maybe) good (And more missing parents)
The Only Cafe: Confusing, but (maybe) good (And more missing parents)
What’s with all the novels about dead/missing parents? Linden MacIntyre’s latest novel, The Only Cafe, adds to the recent spate of missing-parent novels I’ve read (see Manhattan Beach and Last Snow, First Light).
