Hi there! My nickname is Mera, and I have been on this journey for close to 10 years. Started out with my mental health, because of the past trauma that contributed to my BED. Have made waves of progress on that, and started on the more physical health in late 2024. Almost got taken out by a tornado with hubby and fur babies! I pretty much saw that as a sign for change in my life, and quit vaping/smoking. Been clear since!
Started calorie counting and working out in 2025, and have kinda gone off here and there. But have definitely made progress! lost 32 lbs so far! Granted forgot to measure at first, but have lost close to 4 inches in waist and hips. Even lost 2 inches around neck! Also, made progress in regards to food choices, have cooked way more without relying on the ultra processed foods, and have cut back immensely on eating out!
Plan is to get a warehouse job, because want a different career. So, in order to do that need to get into shape, so that when I do snag a job I won't be weak.
That is all about me so far, and hope to have more as I go!
