… which, I should add, is not what the dictionary says. Jom, obfuscating his level of education to the foreign master? it's more likely than I thought 😌 EDITED for correction (thank you! <3): As @recentadultburnout points out here, this may very well have been the meaning Jom's parents had in mind when they gave him that nickname.
