I have the other side of this. I remember faces but names…. nope. Not even after they tell me. It’s annoying. It’s happening more and more. And quickly, I can meet someone and 10 minutes later the name is gone :/

Oh no. Luckily I’m slightly more ok with remembering names so often if they’re like “Hey its [name]” it jogs my memory of who they are since I can associate names with roles at least. Unfortunately sometimes that doesn’t happen and then I’m really in trouble oh no :,).

Stories never go the way we plan. They take on a life of their own and run away with the plot lines. We actually have very little control over our own stories.

oh definitely! the problematic thing is that i need to finish this fic stat because i have so many other fic ideas just patiently waiting and bubbling at the back of my mind, so the fact that this one is taking forever and hasn’t even begun to cover the ground i want it to cover is frustrating. But i’ve had coffee, so let’s see if i’m able to see this through ;)
