dropped the parents at the airport yesterday afternoon, and in the last twenty four hours have already had to call on neighbours for help... grateful for the fantastic Cherrie-Anne for coming to the garage with me to pick up dad’s car!!! apart from that, dog is fed, kitchen is clean and heatpump is on - so we are off to a good start here. waiting for Dubai pictures to roll in! - cb

The more I hear my friends talk about their parents, the more I appreciate my own. I just really appreciate the way my parents raised me. Yeah they could've been more intentional, more available, more emotionally/spiritually nurturing... regardless, I am blessed to have the parents I do. They truly honor my decisions, give me the freedom and liberty to be my own person. They don't limit me nor impose their own dreams on me. They allow me to make the mistakes, to try new things -- they give me the space to grow my own pair of wings, to soar high. I'm thankful for their confidence and trust. I miss them.
