She stopped responding on New Years 2022 and has not been seen or heard from since.
Kathy Ann Spradlin went to Nashville on New Years eve for a birthday party. Kathy was accompanied by her boyfriend John Trobaugh, her daughter and her daughter's dad James Brown. After the party James was dropped off at his home and Kathy and her daughter were dropped off at a friends house for a New Years eve get together.
James talked to his daughter on the phone several times that night and spoke to Kathy once. Kathy told James that she was waiting for John to pick her up and take her to Smithville.
Over the next 24 hours James grew steadily concerned for Kathy as his calls and messages went unanswered. He messaged John and after about 12 hours John finally responded.
According to John, Kathy packed up clothes, her laptop and her dogs and left in a dark colored SUV. She has not been seen or heard from since.
The reports online say she was last seen on Janury 2nd, 2022 leaving a home on Ponder rd. in Dekalb County, TN.
Her namus profile doe not include a picture, it says she was last heard from February 13th, 2022 and says that according to her family her food stamp and bank cards had not been used.
(I am unsure why the date would be so off unless they used the day she was reported missing. Her card history should have been checked by Law Enforcement.)
Even though she was reportedly last seen in Dekalb County, TN she is reported as missing from Putnam County, TN and Cookeville Police Department is in charge of the investigation.
At the time of her disappearance Kathy was described as a 43 year old caucasian female, 5' 6" 105 lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a cross tattooed on her left arm, a tattoo on her lower back and an eyebrow piercing.
If you have any information regarding the location or disappearance of Kathy Spradlin please call the Cookeville Police Department at 931-526-2126.
Kathy's case is in serious need of attention. Please help so her loved ones can have peace.
