Know the rules at your chosen wedding venues. Many places have restrictions especially some churches. These might impact your choice. If you have chosen a venue because it has a beautiful terrace overlooking rolling hills make sure it will be available to you on your wedding day. The most extreme example I have come across was a church where I was told I had to stop taking photographs once the bride crossed the church threshold. I was not allowed to start again until the service was concluded! As a wedding photographer that kind of restricts me and robbed the couple of some beautiful images as it was a very emotional service.
