( he really is her first , biggest , and only hero . ) something so simple , a gesture so casual yet FULL of meaning is enough for her . enough to keep going . she smiles , wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him close . “ don’t get SOFT on me yet , ” she says . nods once . i’m okay . “ we’ve got a job to do . ”
