I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t really see sh*ak* There’s nothing in Canon that could suggest any form of healthy relationship, and it’s just…not good. If he had lived, I think with some mental help, they could have been friends but I really don’t see anything romantic between them. I mean Ak*chi tried to kill Akira for goodness sake!

(I put asterisks, so this post won’t end up in their tags.) This is very true. I don’t see that relationship as anything healthy, especially not for Akira. Now, I like the idea of an AU of where they met earlier, like Ak*chi has said, wondering if they’d met earlier. There’s definitely a point of no return for this character, and it’s hard to tell when it was in canon, because they never give us enough about his situation to do more than speculate. :/

The thing is, you can’t help someone that doesn’t want to be helped, and a relationship with someone that doesn’t want to be helped is not healthy. Now, if it’s framed as unhealthy and/or a hatesex type thing, I’d wouldn’t be so annoyed? It’s when ships are framed as healthy (in fandom OR in canon) when they really, really aren’t is when I’m over it.

Tbh, I’ll see how I feel about this ship when Royal comes out in English. Maybe it’ll have more depth. I’d need to see Ak*chi wanting help. And end rant. XD
