He laughs loudly, the Voice of Roland the Man resound and vibrant past the furred lips and stiff whiskers of Roland the Stag; matching the Queen in all her glorious transformation, and he rears in gaiety and prances around in a semi-circle, his white tail merrily waggling.

"Art thou bound for a race, my Queen?" calls he, and trumpets he with a musical Inclination, one gold hoof pawing at the Springtime-cool ground, snorting.

Vayu likes most cats. He would forgive any other cat for this. Especially today, since he was planning on doing the laundry tomorrow anyways, and it wasn't like Vayu's clothes were nice enough to "ruin".

But this particular cat?

He narrows his eyes at Marius. What was his problem?

Polly has made Vayu a cake for his birthday! She's decorated it with autumnal colors and iced little falling leaves onto the sides.

Vayu covers his mouth to stop himself from gasping at the sight of it. He often admired Polly's decorating -- he wished he was even half that artistic.

Yet, he never thought to ask or commission those skills. Polly was already a very busy woman, and these beautiful decorated cakes and cookies no doubt took a lot of time and effort, and it wasn't right to take advantage of their friendship to get her to do things for him, at least not without something done in return-

"It... it looks great!" he exclaims. "Ohhhh, all that time practicing with the cookies really paid off, I... uh..."

He blinked, giving Polly a sheepish look. "...would you like to share?"

Lee had to be careful, very careful. This was a unique situation. The first time him showing up somewhere the way he usually would could be harmful. So he teleported somewhere random that was five to ten minutes away from where he was heading. He also had to avoid giving away what he was, which would be tricky as he's usually always completely honest. But he's adapted before, he can do so again.

Thankfully, he had time to adapt and make a plan. The demons he had foreseen wouldn't show up for days, he had purposely arrived before them in advance. He entered the local cafe to collect his thoughts. A kind smile was present on his features as he approached the counter and looked directly at the owner. "Hello there! I'm Lee, it's nice to meet you! I'm new in town!" He said, being as honest as he could.
