I have SO many thoughts about the new muppet show but I CAN NOT BELIEVE they brought back miss poogy back from the 2011 muppet movie. Of all the muppets to return I had NO expectations of ever seeing ANY of the moopets again.

Okay, @misspoogy, let’s do this.

1. WHAT SEASON DID YOU START WATCHING SUPERNATURAL?

I started watching something like 3 episodes into season ten. I’d heard about it long before then, of course, but I always thought it’d be lame. I watched season one through half of season two, and then I gave up. But then Christmas break came, and I got bored, so I binged the rest in two weeks. Boom, super fan.

2. WHO WAS THE FIRST CHARACTER YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH?

Well, I mean, in the beginning, your choices were basically Sam or Dean. So, for me it was Dean. But for the record, I was immediately drawn to Castiel when I saw him.

3. WHO WAS A CHARACTER THAT YOU HATED AT FIRST BUT GREW TO LOVE?

I love my unpopular opinions. Okay. Charlie. Honestly, I found her super annoying in the beginning and I never looked forward to her episodes. However, by the time I got to season ten, I was really sad to see her go.

4. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST WANT TO BE IN A LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH?

Dean, God bless. Just his loyalty and passion alone are good enough reasons for me to want to be with that boy forever.

5. IF YOU COULD GO ON A DATE WITH JUST ONE CHARACTER, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE? 

If I could go on a singular date with a character? I was gonna say Sam because he’s the sweetest butterball, but I’m actually going to say Castiel. 

6. WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON THAT DATE?

Honestly, I’d just want to sit at a table in a random restaurant and talk to Cas. You know, get his opinions and thoughts on the issues. Ask him what his thoughts are on the Northern Lights. What his favorite smell is. Just questions that I’ve no doubt Castiel would answer in the most interesting ways.

7. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST WANT TO BE LIKE?

I would most likely want to be like either Jody with her strength and will, or I’d want to be like Kevin with his intelligence and bravery.

8. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST WANT TO SEE BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD? 

There are so many characters that I want back, but the primary person I’ve been itching to see again is Bobby. Not just because he’s Bobby, but because he brought such soul to the show that it’s honestly been lacking since his death. 

9. WHICH CHARACTER WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO PUNCH? 

Overall? I’m gonna go with Zachariah. I absolutely hated him when he was on the show.   

10. WHO IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHARACTER? 10. WHO IS YOUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHARACTER?

Well, Dean, but that’s obvious so I’m gonna go for supporting cast. In which case, Kevin. 100%.

11. WHICH “BIG BAD” DO YOU THINK WAS THE WORST?

The “worst” meaning “such a great villian!!”: Crowley. Obviously.

The “worst” meaning “the worst written”: Samuel. I did not like him. at. all. 

12. WHICH CHARACTER ARE YOU MOST LIKE?

Castiel, for sure. A dork. Socially awkward. Lots of rage in a compact package. 

13. WHAT DEATH HIT YOU THE HARDEST?

It’s probably gotta be Kevin. His is the only death I simultaneously was shocked by and cared about enough for it to effect me.

14. WHAT SEASON FINALE HIT YOU THE HARDEST? 

 I’d say S5′s finale. Sam’s sacrifice always gets me.

Season five. I think that’s the quintessential “best season” for most of the fandom.

Okay, I’m going with angels other than arch. So, Gadreel. Even though he did shitty shit, sure, he was still a sweetie in the end (to me). So he is my baby.

18. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE DEMON?

Other than Crowley, probably Meg. Meg 2.0, specifically. 

19. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE EVIL CHARACTER?

Pick a dark TFW plotline, any dark TFW plotline. From those plotlines, I’d have to say Demon!Dean. Blood Junkie Sam is close, but Sam wasn’t ever evil, he just did the right thing in his mind, so.

20. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPERNATURAL SHIPS?  

LOL. Besides Destiel? Ummmmm... Sam and Eileen? That’s probably the biggest one I can think of right now.

 21. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE SUPPORTING ACTOR?

Kim. She’s badass. So is Brianna. So is Osric. So is Ruth. I can’t pick.

22. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE FROM THE SHOW?

“I’m proud of us.”

23. IF YOU COULD CAST ONE FAMOUS ACTOR IN AN EPISODE OF SPN, WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Tom Welling and Danneel Ackles in literally any role at all.

24. IF YOU COULD WRITE YOUR OWN EPISODE, WHAT KIND OF CREATURES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE INCLUDED?

Um... that’s super hard. Mermaids? So the boys could go to a beach?

25. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE GIRL THAT DEAN’S HOOKED UP WITH?

Lisa? I mean, the sex scene with Anna was hot and all, but I liked Lisa’s character the best... I guess? I don’t know.

26. WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE GIRL THAT SAM’S HOOKED UP WITH? 

Ruby. Not because she was a morally sound character. But because she wasn’t. Which made that scene infinitely more interesting. 

27. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE CONVENTION MOMENTS?

The con I went to (PHXCON 2016), my friend was able to ask Misha a question for me: what vehicle Cas would have if he didn’t have the Pimpmobile, so that was a fun answer from him (he said a smart car so Cas could go broom broom).

28. IF YOU WERE GOING TO GUEST STAR (OR BE A RECURRING GUEST STAR) ON SPN, HOW WOULD YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER TO BE DESCRIBED? 

“No, no. Listen. You do not want to fuck with this chick. Trust me” -Dean 

29. WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO SEE IN THE NEXT SEASON?

Christ. Dean mourning over Cas for once in his life. Some actual tears would be nice. Maybe an acknowledgment of how scared he was to lose Cas (said to Cas’s face when he comes home). 

Or maybe just a penguin for a guest star. You know. Simple stuff.

It’s been officially 2 months since the muppet special and I’m still in shock that of ALL the muppets they brought back for the new muppet special from the 2011 movie it was MISS MOTHER FLUFFIN POOGY. Not even Walter made the cut and in the words of @athenap-wow he was the” titular bitchular “of that movie. Even as I rewatch the 2011 movie I’m so shocked she’s back.

I Give Up... I'm a Reader, Not a Writer

I have 82 fics bookmarked on Ao3. 82! I have 1 WIP I haven't touched in months, 1 uncompleted addition to a series, 5 other story ideas in various stages of progress, and several prompts I haven't even looked at... and what am I doing? So this is the premises, Cas is sitting in his truck listening to the radio. "Sad Lisa" by Cat Stevens comes on and he recognizes it as a song he's heard before and this is a stream of consciousness from Cas as the song plays.

Sitting in the truck waiting for the Winchesters to arrive, listening to the softly wafting melodic music floating around him;

She hangs her head and cries on my shirt

since his release from the institution he found that he has been more fascinated by music. Not that he was particularly fascinated before by music but any sound wave was worth paying attention to as sound itself is the original Word.  Of course he has listened to the music Dean likes but he has found other music which seems to touch him more deeply. Thinking about starry nights and daffodils…

She must be hurt very badly

Listening to the sorrowful voice wafting out of the speakers, this man telling a story about a sad woman; Cas wondered if the man was in love with this woman. It sounded like he could be...

Tell me what's making you sad, Li?

He’s heard this song before. Once he found the “oldies” station he found that he actually started to prefer this station to the others; the voices were quiet and relaxed. Although, he still didn’t understand why it was called “oldies”.

Open your door, don't hide in the dark

There was nothing particularly old about this music. It had only been written maybe 40 to 50 years ago and, well, in the grand scheme that’s just not that old but he understands that time is relative. And humans have a different scale of time then angels.

You're lost in the dark, you can trust me

He remembers being human. He can’t say that it’s a particularly fond memory. He remembers feeling ‘lost in the dark’ at least he thinks that the drifting sadness of self-doubt, anguish and fear that he felt is what the feline man means when he says ‘lost in the dark’.  But he can’t be positive. There is still much about human emotion he does not understand.

'Cause you know that's how it must be

His brethren would tell him that he was wasting his time and energy trying to understand humans and their emotions. But having been human once he thinks there is something important here to learn. And besides time is relative after all…

Lisa Lisa, sad Lisa Lisa

Who is this woman Lisa..? He thinks about the woman who Dean stayed with for a year. She and her son, they made Dean happy; an emotion that Dean has had very little of.  He doesn’t think that she was ‘lost in the dark’ at least it didn’t seem that way.

Her eyes like windows, trickle in rain

Ah, yes, more metaphor a concept that he still struggles with.  He’s pretty sure Metatron never had trouble with metaphor so he feels that maybe it’s some sort of defect in his code that causes him confusion in this area. The other angels, he’s pretty sure they don’t care about metaphor; they don’t care about understanding these ‘naked apes’, most beloved of God’s creation.  How could they not?

Upon the pain getting deeper

Reflecting on his own resurrections, punishments he is sure of it, he wonders if is it’s possible that being resurrected might have caused errors to creep into his code.  But he never really understood metaphor even before he took a vessel.  Now, however, it bothers him quite a bit that he doesn’t.  Resurrections are worse every time.

Though my love wants to relieve her

Ah maybe this feline man, Cat, is in love with this woman. Or perhaps he simply loves her. Cas is learning that there to is an important difference.  Apparently, someone can ‘love’ another but not be ‘in love’.  Another concept that he struggles with.  He doesn’t think he’s ever been ‘in love’.  He’s pretty sure angels don’t have the code for that.  And, well, would he even know if he had or was for that matter.  What does love feel like after all?

She walks alone from wall to wall

He wonders why she’s alone.  Suddenly Cas feels his heart squeeze.  He knows his heart isn’t actually ‘squeezing' and yet that’s just what it feels like. What an odd unpleasant sensation. Noticing as the sensation begins to recede. He knows that he does feel alone and wonders if that could have anything to do with the physiological reaction he seemed to have when that line was sung.

Lost in her hall, she can't hear me

Cas knows what it feels like to not be heard.  His Father never hears him, its seems. He’s made so many mistakes.  Always asking for guidance. Well he used to but not as much anymore.  These days it only takes him a moment to remember that Chuck left.  He wonders where He and his sister went or maybe when then went. Time being relative.

Though I know she likes to be near me

He likes being near Dean, he’s not sure why other than they have a ‘profound bond’ at least that’s what he told Sam.  Probably because he brought Dean out of perdition; but he had been too late to prevent the breaking of the first seal.  And how could he have been ‘too late’.  ‘Too late’ suggested that time was linear.  He knew that it wasn’t.

Lisa Lisa, sad Lisa Lisa

Then he was charged with protecting him, by God, he thought by God anyway but at this point he couldn’t really be sure. Dean has grown into a habit, familiar; another human trait, strange.

She sits in a corner by the door

Continuing to let the sad tune wash over him, Cas sat up looked around hoping to see the Impala. Nothing.  ‘Familiar’ another interesting word, in English based on the word ‘family’.  Dean told him that he was part of their family.  What does it mean to be part of a family?  Were the angels a family?

There must be more I can tell her

Cas didn’t think so even though they called themselves ‘brother’. Dean would die for his brother even more would trade his soul for his brother.  Cas is sure that angels would not do those things for their brethren.  He didn’t.  He ultimately killed many of the angels who sided with Raphael.

If she really wants me to help her

He wants to help Dean, he thinks he wants to help Dean. Maybe that’s part of his programming.  He feels like the way to help Dean is to keep him safe, away from danger.  He does not think of Dean as one of his soldiers.  A pawn to use in battle.  The last thing Cas is willing to do is to sacrifice Dean.  And that’s curious isn’t it?

I'll do what I can to show her the way

Dean showed him what it is to be human.  No he wasn’t a hammer, he’s clearly not a scalpel either…  For all the ‘free will’ that he has exercised he has made so many mistakes.  He keeps making mistakes.

And maybe one day I will free her

If Lisa is a prisoner maybe this Cat man does not love her.  Who would keep a loved one prisoner?  To some extent he is Dean’s prisoner.  Maybe that’s why he stays away.  Cas is aware that when he is around Dean his decision making skills become muddied.  

Though I know no one can see her

Perhaps she is a figment of his imagination…

Even though the song is emotionally exhausting Cas feels a bit better when it ends. He also feels quite certain that this man Cat does not really love Lisa.  It's just a feeling.  Feelings; still so foreign, this is what it must mean to experience catharsis.

Maybe he should make Dean a mix tape.  Even though he know Dean likes “classic rock”. He’s not sure what’s classic about it…
