Retreating Book no.1 traces the narrative of a retreating glacier as written by glaciological models and satellite imagery. It strives to fill imagined physical voids with its own tenuous matter, using handmade paper to “write” its own presence and narrative potential into the spaces left behind.

Materials: handmade mulberry paper, inkjet on 100 g Munken Pure, waxed linen thread.
