WHATS GOOD WHO TF IS ON HERE

I’ve laid rest on this garden of roses for far too long. The vines have started to grow and wrap around my arms and legs and waist, the rose pedals whispering to me, “Don’t leave us.” I’ve become far too complacent to the thorns stabbing me and opening up scars of vindication, validation and vanity. It has enveloped me into a trap composed of my own fears and delusions.

“Help me,” I whisper to the moon. I gaze up at the pale, white moonlight transform into a bright, sky colored azure light. A white wolf then emerged from the forest, sat directly in front of me, and howled to her sisters. The wolf with hazel eyes gazed into my hazel eyes. Immediately, I felt a nostalgic connection. “I am you, and you are me,” I said.

The wolf nodded and chewed his way through the cocoon. “It’s time,” he said. I broke through the vines and I felt electricity run through my body, up my spine and finally into my heart. I felt a spark of apprehension as I looked at my hands and saw paws instead of hands but it also felt powerful to see the old me disappear and become something unfamiliar.

“What now?”

”You’re free to do as you please.”

A wave of excitement rushed out of my heart and flowed into my spine and head. I felt wings sprout from my back and I started flying toward the sky.

“I am free. I am brave. I am beautiful.”
