          edalyn would look at the human child with curiosity, fingers spinning a lock of her grayed hair slightly in place while trying to register why a sudden human would cross her path. luz was at school, thank goodness, or eda may not have gotten a word in edgewise with this small thing. 

          she would oustretch her hand, allowing the other to take her hand when she felt most comfortable. the other human kinda looked to be the same age as luz, take or give a couple of years. 

          “ don’t you know that the boiling rains are headed this way ? unless you’re looking for some scorched skin and a permanent red complexion, i reckon we better get out of here while we can. “

          hand moves gently in a circle, allowing a small forcefield to hover over them like an umbrella in case the rains came earlier then expected. 

          “ where you live, little miss ? “ she blames luz for here now warmth toward the human race.

       13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?

when it comes to other countries issues, even if said issues affect teyvat on a global level, kosha cares very little. rex lapis’ death causing an economic depression, potentially rendering the value of mora useless and collapsing businesses for every country? whatever, kosha relies on their skill as a hunter and bartering for goods, not gold coins. inazuma effectively shutting out the entire world, causing trades between countries with needed resources to dwindle down? once again, kosha was raised on various survival skills that made sure they depended on themself only, not any sort of government or archon. the truth is, kosha’s very selfish when it comes to what they truly care about. unless it involves the fatui, the tsarista, or snezhnaya as a whole, they are pretty much willing to shrug their shoulders and look away. morepesok was a village isolated away from everything, much like many of the villages in snezhnaya that were not near the capital. even if you pledged your faith, life, and truth into the tsarista, you couldn’t really be expected to count on her highness for everything; you hunted by yourself, you learned that goods were better to barter with than mora, and more importantly, the only person that could protect yourself was you - the fatui weren’t always so kind enough to lend a helping hand, like many would believe.  kosha isn’t completely toneless to the affects that such events like rex lapis’ death have on the world though. they know people will suffer as an effect, especially ones who have never had to rely on anything other than what they’ve been taught their whole life. on an individual level, kosha does care about what happens, but when it comes to how it affects globally, they’re so distanced from that as a concept that it doesn’t matter.   bonus: kosha doesn’t care about fancy food, which is a huge part of liyue culture it seems. when the restaurants fight over who makes the best dishes, kosha never has any remark. food is food, whether good or bad, and they’ll eat whatever is given to them. xingling hates this aspect about kosha, and she’s always trying to make a dish that really wows them. hasn’t worked out so far, but that doesn’t mean she won’t keep trying!

He’s seated comfortably in the corner of a school’s library. The book No Longer Human is open in his lap. One eye trained on the pages, taking in each word. It’s one of his favorite works, and the fact that he was able to find it in a place like this surprised him a bit.

The sound of the library’s door sliding open catches his attention and his eye is promptly TORN AWAY from the book’s pages. Hitotsume isn’t happy about this disturbance. 

“      .....      ”

Closing the book ( but not before memorizing which page he’s on ), the Zingai gets up out of the wooden chair, striding over towards the young girl who has disturbed his peace.

Rei takes a moment to pat the young girl’s head, reassuring her that it’s nothing to get so worked up over. “Don’t be. I mean, it’s pretty typical to think those kinds of things about the people we like.” 

However, her daydreams were probably a little more intense. Now those were embarrassing to think about.
