And this may be a shot in the dark, but do you have any idea if they plan to continue the Nikki Heat series? I know there is one due to come out in October, but will they continue past that?
I don’t. I will say that one of the benefits of the books is that you don’t necessarily need the show to keep them going, and there are quite a number of people who don’t watch the show that read them and look forward to them. As with most things, I’m sure it’ll come down to money, but there’s usually an announcement about the next book sometime after the finale and, if its planned to be the last one, I’d think they would say as much.
I'd like to see Lanie asking Marcus (from "Witness for the Prosecution") out and the date itself (because there is no way he said no!)
