My father passed last year before we ever got to get out and shoot his latest pew pews together. Well my wife and I took him out for one last range session today. Today is a day of reflection for my family as it’s been a year since Pops passed away. Think we’re still processing in our own ways, but, I think Pops would be happy to see how much we’ve come along. He’d say something about the kids getting bigger, especially the twins who just turned one last week. He’d ask about his dog Gigi. He’d say something to me about making sure I continue to look out for my sisters. I’d let him know what I've been up to, the traveling I've done and places I've visited. I would then give him a hard time as usual, cracking jokes and stuff. Miss you Pops. Keep looking out for us.
