On golden streets we dance free
Min Jun had been in a meeting with his father. It had taken the whole afternoon and his servant had not been allowed to join them because they had to discuss ‘sensitive matters’. Which meant nothing more than his father trying to get Min Jun to meet other royal children (and for the Nightmother’s sake, don’t cut off any more tongues) to maybe get connections and a maybe romantic and more so economic gain from said connection. Min Jun was far from willing to form any bonds with any of those royal kids that were, as he told his father, below him in blood, royalty and money anyway. “Why do you want me to marry some kind of rich beggar that just wants me for the title of future empress?” His father had let out a sigh, then a groan and then told Min Jun to ‘give them a chance’ and ‘hasn’t that whore done any good yet’. On which Min Jun answered that Jaejoong had done many good things but that he was ‘training him myself to be my personal servant to tend to my every need.’ Not including sexual favors (yet) (never) (maybe ever).
The prince came out of his father’s chambers tired but with a smile, he had good news for Jaejoong and he couldn’t help but tell his friend/servant/upgraded whore. “Jaejoong-” He called out as he entered the chambers where he had left the other to ‘study up on proper etiquette’ which was Min Jun’s way of saying ‘go take some hours off and read, no one comes in this old small library anyway’. He looked at the halfblood excited as he darted over and bit his bottomlip. “Guess what, we’re going to Antiva tomorrow. Just you and me. And some guards of course but we can forget about them. I have to attend some stupid royal thing again. Lord Luhan will be there; but aside from that we will have two days there on our own.” He pulled on Jaejoong’s hand. “We need to pack my pirate boots!”
And thus the prince and the servant, and five large suitcases of clothing, were travelling to the golden city of Antiva. Located South of Aranarth; it would be hotter in the city of assassins, pirates and merchants so Min Jun had allowed Jaejoong to bring more revealing outfits (”But not too revealing!”) and he himself was wearing a darkblue outfit with golden details that revealed a good portion of his grey chest and arms. Small hairpins of golden leaves were placed in his raven hair and he was looking out of the carriage, pulled by two pegasi, almost constantly. Excited to leave the city, for the first time, on his own. The travel was longer than he had anticipated and the prince had brought books to read for him and Jaejoong. (A book on celibacy for Jaejoong was included as a gentle nudge. Min Jun was just giving him options.) Meanwhile Min Jun was completely lost within a book about a darkhaired pirate that swept a prince from his feet and abducted him to his ‘ship of lust and arousal’. Small giggles came from the lord and he sat, unknowing, much closer to Jaejoong with every chapter he read. Right to the point where he was leaning against the servan’t shoulder as he bit his thumg while reading how the pirate ‘pounded into the royal prince while marking him with his teeth and mouth’.
Properly sexually frustrated the prince and his servant arrived in Antiva, where the streets were indeed golden and the people seemed open and nice. With a n assassin in between clad in dark leather and looking arrogant but beautiful in Min Jun’s eyes (even if he did thank the Nightmother that he had not been taken as a young child). “Jaejoong, we are sleeping in this house. It belongs to father and the guards will be outside the whole day and night.’ It was a reasonably small house that looked out over the golden streets but inside it was richly decorated with golden tables, chairs and closets. Food was displayed on the tables and maids were running around to clean the last shelves and bedsheets. All the maids were wearing the chains of slavery but the chains were lighter, smaller. Designed to fit the frail bodies of the females. They were all dark elves and wore their hair not in the braids Min Jun was used in Aranarth but loose in waves. Matching the sound of the ocean close by. “Jaejoong-” He mumbled as he was done observing the maids and took two plates with him as he walked upstairs to the bedroom where he (and Jaejoong, there was a second bed) would be staying. “Tonight we will have to go to the feast. Are you okay with seeing Lord Luhan again, or do you wish to stay here? I will not hold it against you if you decide to stay here.”
