Did I miss your thoughts on Ruby Rose being chased off twitter by Arrowverse fans and locking down the comments on her IG? If not, please chime in because i’d love to hear your point of view 🙏🏾

This is the first I’m hearing of it and honestly I’m not involved in any kind of DC discourse at all so I’m not surprised I haven’t heard about it yet. I mean that’s a shitty thing to do to anyone. I don’t really care for Ruby Rose either way and I don’t agree with the casting decision of her, but that doesn’t mean she should be harassed. If I remember correctly, Ed Skrein stepped down from Hellboy after a backlash, but not necessarily harassment (just for comparison).

Just curious what your thoughts on Marvel firing James Gunn over his pedo tweets is... and will there be a video on this? (Because I need to hear sane thoughts on this horrendous turn of events tbh)

I’ve already answered a few questions about the subject today, so here they are:

The very first one when I didn’t know what was going on

So far today I’ve seen people I look to for guidance in creating content argue from opposite ends of the spectrum. I’ll be honest, I understand both perspectives, but that doesn’t mean I agree with one over the other. The issue is complicated given that the source that outed Gunn is ultra conservative and just doesn’t like Gunn, doesn’t actually care about the well being of children. And that doesn’t absolve Gunn of what he said in the least bit, but it does call into question where loyalties lie from a corporate perspective. I’m already overwhelmed and confused by the specifics, so I probably won’t be making a video on it.

I might, however, make a video on a topic related to this issue, though it’s been stewing in my head for a while and actually isn’t specific to this situation. I probably won’t even bring this situation up, given how unsure I am about certain answers.

I will say that the things he tweeted were absolutely horrific, disgusting, and reprehensible. He should’ve been reprimanded and punished a long time ago, but he wasn’t.
