Joanna loves Augustus, and she'll tell anyone that. For some reason, since the very day that she's talked to him she could tell him everything. Before, she would hit this brick wall and not be able to explain her emotions to anyone. This would frustrate her to no end, she would bottle things up until she felt like she was about to explode. Now, with her Gussy-Bear, she could go on and on without stopping. She never thought that it would help as much as it does. She owes him a lot because of this. Whenever she thinks about him leaving her soon, she has to think about all the times he's made her laugh and when he was there to help her.
