i was tagged by the rad everybodyloveschen, thanks for tagging ^^ sorry it took until today for me to do this, school's eating me up alive

uhh so let's get started?

i have way too many names, but i go by mia to friends and strangers. if you ever try to pull a mamma mia joke we're never speaking again

i'm a sophomore in high school rn and i take school super duper seriously. like do homework the night it's assigned serious. i'm pretty sure i'm one super duper away from having no social life but education is actually so important kids

i'm ethnically and legally vietnamese, but i've been living in the united states since i was one

i think this is actually the coolest fact but i'm somewhere between 5'4 and 5'5 (probably 164 cm???), making me taller than both of my parents

i like kpop a lot, i've liked it since 2011 and i follow sm groups pretty intensely, but i also like girl's day and infinite and other groups

i'm a terrible singer which is probably why i dig main vocals

but i dance!! i help head a kpop dance crew at school

i actually like math so much. i'm a part of the math team and i enjoy doing math homework and i'm a loser like my math buddy ayshe

i like clothes and buying clothes on sale and sewing and fixing them up to look cool

i find it difficult to start talking to people if we aren't close or they don't initiate the conversation and most likely we'll end up thinking we hate each other

i subconsciously pick up habits or expressions from friends and the internet that i think are funny and i'll use it endlessly until i pick up another one

my sense of humor has deteriorated to "your face" comebacks and bad puns

i watch bad romcoms for amusement

i'm obsessed with sappy sad ballads sometimes i listen to them with a rain sound simulator and stare out of the window for 5 hours

i'm bilingual and also learning spanish! maybe korean someday if i'm super cool

my eyelids do this thing where they're monolids on most days but sometimes i wake up with double eyelids and they're gone the next day???

i've moved a grand total of 10 times in my life so far

i'm decent at cooking

i get strangely aggressive in gym class and world cup season and i also cannot touch my toes

i uh really like eyebrows, if you have dark intense eyebrows i'm probably already attracted to you

My bias is kim jongdae(!!!!!) If you didn’t know that, you need to know that. Other biases include but are not limited to jonghyun squared and yonghwa and lee jinki. 

I have a lot of names, but you could just call me you since I respond to “hey you” a lot. My name is Phyllis and I go up phyl or phyllie or phillip or cel or celene or basically anything.

I’m 18 and I cannot drive so my entire family has to take turns driving me to college.

I’m majoring in computer science!!! 

I have acrophobia, trypophobia, and all-bugs/insects/spiders-phobia.

I have a really selective memory regarding phone numbers, birthdays, license plate numbers and stuff, but sadly not really anything that’s needed for academics.

I kind of dropped out of high school?????

But I still graduated as a valedictorian???? heh 

I’m super socially awkward and will not initialize conversation unless I’m comfortable enough so pls talk to me.

I can do the splits even though I don’t do dance or athletics or anything that requires movement???

I play violin and piano.

I hate slow replies, so I respond to messages really quickly.

I’ve had the same phone for 5 years and I actually do not have texting. (this explains my social life)

if you don't have xkit, you can go download it for chrome, firefox or opera! it makes tumblr really easy to use. it comes with a bunch of extensions that you can download by clicking the xkit icon on the top of the tumblr page and clicking the 'get extensions' tab. search 'audio downloader' and install it. after that, you can follow the directions i sent before!

i tried using dropbox at first but it never worked ._. so, i usually upload the file to tumblr on a different blog and use the xkit audio downloader extension to get its link. if you right-click the "download file" button, you can copy the direct link of the audio to paste into the billy playlist! (i know this is extremely inefficient but it still works)

may i know what is this magical xkit audio downloader extension????

This is a great exercise to do for anyone reading this because sometimes we all need to remind ourselves that we ARE wonderful. Our brains are trained to always pick out the negative and then multiply that negative until it becomes a looming dark cloud over our heads.
