some Ducktales doodles of this fine floofy fellow designed for me by @techmomma / @mistermcdee! (Bottom Image) Still haven’t settled on a name for him yet, though it’s certainly “Baron” something! (he’s been called, unofficcially, “Baron Floofle”, “Baron Flufferstache” and “Baron Flooflefordingtoner” by myself and his creator) For now, let’s just call him “The Baron”- which he often goes by anyways. He clings to his title despite living in Duckburg, with his homeland having abolished the nobility.
He doesn’t pursue wealth in the same way that Scrooge or Glomgold do, but still often butts heads with them as he IS an avid collector of antiquities and will often pursue the same leads. He doesn’t hold this against them though, and considers it a “friendly rivalry” (however much the other party might disagree).
As part of keeping up his noble lifestyle, he makes sure to take part in Duckburg society, and is particularly fond of ( @techmomma‘s) Mr. Poppeacock’s parties. (Pictured above. Also pictured: Grisaldara, who I’d figure’d be easy enough to throw into the duckverse. She’s not after money, but rather the lifestyle that comes with it- and to meet this end she hires herself out as an adventurer)
Apart from social events, The Baron is often alone. When he gets particularly homesick, he’ll invite Ludwig von Drake over just to hear someone else speak his language, and reminisce about the old days. (bottom sketch)
