Day 16 - Fictional world What a great theme to show off The Old Kingdom universe. Starting with Sabriel, this series by Garth Nix vividly paints two worlds, one with magic where anything made by machine falls to ruin and a modern one with motor cars and guns. The problem is, guns can’t stop the dead from rising or keep magic completely on the Old Kingdom side of the enchanted wall that separates the two worlds. . Not pictured are my copies of Clairiel and Goldenhand, stories of the Old Kingdom but not in the original trilogy. Nightingale, Beverly Brook, and Doctor Walid are all great but I do love PC Peter Grant the most. Day 11 - #shelfiesunday Here’s what’s on the comic books shelves, the first shelves you see in the apartment since they’re in the hallway. They’re in no order since they’ve been unpacked but I did manage to keep most of the comic books together. A lot of these comics came from the now-defunct Comic Bento box, which got me to read a much wider variety of comics. . I used to have my reference books separate from the rest but since moving my shelves don’t fit where I thought they would and my reference shelf can’t go in my office.
