Now was his chance— but, he wasn’t quite sure what it was his chance to do. It was either his chance to put his skills to the test and see if his cooking has been improving or get the hell out of there without saying a word… not the most polite thing in the world, but since when was Kim Mingyu known for his astounding manners? Of course, he finally decided upon the first option because he didn’t want to be known as a total asshole. And, you know, he could use the experience (if you could even call it that). Still not the most sociable in the world, the significantly taller boy gives a short nod as a very faint smile takes up residence upon his face. He never has been especially talented with words, and he was a little nervous that his quiet nature would put the girl off, but maybe not. For someone that wouldn’t necessarily classify themselves as “shy”, he sure did share a lot of attributes with a person that would be labeled with the very title.
After swallowing rather hard, the blond took a deep breath as he took a sidestep in the other’s direction. He looked down at her with an uncertain gaze as he tugged his lower lip between his teeth. He shifted on his feet and let out an airy laugh through his nose, which sounded a lot like it was just a louder exhale than usual. “I’m, uh… not sure what to start with, though, so… you can instruct me. I promise I won’t get all bitchy and yell at you for trying to tell me what to do.” Slightly louder laughter fell from his lips for several moments as he took a small step back. “You’re probably a better chef than I am, I’m just a master-in-training.” This was normal, right? He wasn’t coming off as the type of guy that’s killed dozens of people? He sure hoped not. This could be sort of… fun.
