some more Estranged trivia that’s not plot relevant but that I would love to put into a little quick oneshot somewhere in the series
Mitch hates Batman. Specifically The Dark Night Rises, but Stiles doesn’t care about specifics because Mitch hates Batman???
And like, okay, to be fair, Mitch has nothing against Batman himself. No, it’s the bullshit shock-tactic economics employed in DNR that he can’t stand, because that’s not how that works, that’s now how any of that works! And given his position, it really grates to watch. But he tries. For Stiles’ sake, he tries.
Except sometime during the movie Stiles looks over and sees Mitch visibly cringing and biting back what’s sure to be some very scathing commentary. Stiles actually pauses the movie because he’s got to hear this, it’s sure to be entertaining, and Mitch goes off on a whole mini tirade and Stiles isn’t sure whether to laugh or be offended.
There was a really great youtube video on it a long time ago and im so disappointed I can’t find it again because it explained it better than I could, but ahhh, yeah, Mitch Does Not Like Batman.
