So here it is OH BOY! My 10th album in three years. Like all of my albums, it may not be for everyone but this one consists of eight instrumentals and two songs with lyrics. It plays musical chairs with genre on pretty much every song though at it’s core it is electronic, alt rock. I have come to see several stylistic choices I consistently make on each album and believe this one is no exception. OH BOY! Is a hard concept album but to get the full story you must read it piece by piece and hear it track by track (Each part is in the lyrics section on the Bandcamp page). The prime experience of this record comes from listening/reading it together. Trust me, the story is really fun.
I worked super hard on this one and tbh it was really fun to create. I have a specific sound but I’m not exactly sure how to describe it. Anyone who thinks they have a good comparison I would love to hear it. So once again I ask you, please give it a listen and if you are feeling up to it, give it a purchase. Also if you buy it off of Bandcamp you get a copy of the entire written story! I think that’s pretty neat.
