AND ANOTHER THING I LOVE ABOUT LANKEY, is how Monkey is the polar opposite of Taro. He's emotional, flawed, insecure, while Taro is this rock of a man who doesn't let his emotions show or let them get in the way of his judgement. Monkey is very talkative and social, while Taro is more of a lone wolf. Monkey is very open about his care for his teammates and his affection for Lani, while Taro is closed off and never easy to read. The fact that Taro and Lani didn't work out together because he's "hard to talk to" tells me that she needed someone who was emotionally open, someone with the same level of passion and insecurity and heart as her, because she has so much heart to give and sometimes she feels like she's the only one.
