Cooking headcanons for funsies

Tezla doesn't cook purely because he has no reason to cook

Lani can cook well she's a quick learner at most things

Kurt can't cook he was too busy racing grand prix for years to actually learn BUT he can microwave tv dinner okay

Wylde can cook like 3 things and they slap he just only cooks like once a year two if you're lucky...he's usually too lazy to do so

Monkey should not touch the kitchen he's a great chemist he's a great mechanic he's great at burning water

Porkchop and Tork are unstoppable when they're working together they always have Taro as an extra set of hands and input and the three can manage a kitchen with minimal need for dialogue [the problems are when Monkey and Wylde get involved]

Nolo can cook fairly well and is one of the only Teku that CAN cook on the fly

The other two? Vert and Shirako.

Vert is good at making stuff at random if he follows a recipe he's fucked.

Shirako can cook by recipe that's it and if it's just for him he's just not putting effort into elaborate meals he needs time for other things

Karma can cook decently if she has to but the boys (excluding Kurt) can usually handle food themselves pretty well

Love these headcanons, but might I add..

Wylde also occasionally gets cravings for some of the prison cuisine that he learned from a bunk mate.

Torque, on occasion, cooks more elaborate dishes than what you’d expect, often experimenting with different proteins, including plant based on occasion.

Porkchop is a bit stereotypical, and specializes in meat, especially barbecue. From roasts to ribs, burgers to bratwurst, he knows his meats. Also, funnily enough, his pork chop recipe is always a treat whenever he makes it, to the point that he refuses to let anyone help when he makes it.

Taro isn’t big into fully cooking, but has a list of family recipes, and likes helping with prep-work (mainly to make absolutely sure Torque and Porkchop don’t mess the recipes up). He also tries his best to keep Monkey away.

Also Gig has a special food processor that makes meal replacement drinks for Dr Tezla, and when the teams one time tried them, they said the drinks were amazing.

Oh absolutely I was gonna write that bit down for Wylde most of his cooking skills boil down to improv like Vert however he's just got way more questionable methods with way less ingredients

Ough Gig food processor is a good one he could totally run a smoothie stand on the side...

The Teku are really missing out on good food luckily they all team up at the end...
