ok my favorite thing about them is sHE FUCKING HATED HIM HDHSHDH he was some charming fuckboy. And she was not having any of it.

And then she saw how much more was going on with him than she’d realized when they found him in the dungeon. She came to pity him… but also clearly developed a sort of fondness for him when she helped rehabilitate him for like, a decade or something.

I find it really interesting!! They start off so messy and toxic with a lot of unspoken tension, and somehow end up amicable and grateful for each other. It’s like that kid that pissed you off in middle school and meeting them again in high school, and realizing they’re pretty chill actually and you surprisingly get along well.

Also I think it’s reallyyyyyy funny for kabru to have to grapple with mithrun banging his mom.
